How to Use PocketSuds
How to Use PocketSuds in 60 Seconds
Step 1: Unfold & Place
Pop open PocketSuds and set it on a flat surface near a sink or tub. Plug into any standard outlet.
Step 2: Add Clothes + Water
Add up to 8L of clothes: ∼6 socks + 6 underwear, OR 2-3 baby onesies, OR 1 workout set. Fill with water using a pitcher. Don’t go past the “MAX” line inside the tub.
Step 3: Add Detergent
Use 1 tsp of HE detergent max. Too many suds = overflow. A pea-size drop works for small loads.
Step 4: Pick Your Cycle & Wash
Press the button: 3 min = rinse, 5 min = light wash, 10 min = normal. Blue LED turns on while it runs. Walk away.
Step 5: Drain & Spin
Hook the 3ft drain hose over your sink edge. Water drains by gravity. To spin: Lift inner basket, nest it back in, run a 2-min spin cycle. Removes 70% of water.
Step 6: Hang Dry & Fold Away
Hang clothes — they’ll dry in 2-4 hours. Collapse PocketSuds flat to 4.9" and slide it under your sink.

We've answered your questions to make you confident in your purchase
How many clothes can it actually wash?
8L capacity = about 6 pairs of socks + 6 pairs of underwear, OR 2-3 baby onesies, OR 1 workout set. It’s designed for small daily loads. If you try to wash jeans or towels, it won’t clean well. Think “delicates drawer,” not “full hamper.”
How long is a wash cycle?
3 settings: 3 min for rinse, 5 min for light wash, 10 min for normal. Most people use 10 min for underwear/socks. Total time including fill/drain = ∼15 min.
Is it loud? Can I use it in a dorm at night?
<45 dB — quieter than a microwave. It sounds like a soft hum. Yes, dorm-safe. Your roommate’s snoring is louder.
Does it actually get clothes dry?
No washer does. The spin basket removes ∼70% of water so clothes are damp, not dripping. Hang dry for 2-4 hours vs 8+ hours if you hand-wash. For fastest results, lay items flat on a towel.
